Five small blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon were selected for this
blend: three from Yallingup and two from Wilyabrup. The Yallingup
Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards have provided the earthy, chocolate, blackberry notes with fleshy texture; the Wilyabrup components contribute ripe blackcurrant and violet aromatics with dense and rich filigreed long tannins.

The 2021 vintage was cool and late; spring was windy, wet and
stormy in Margaret River which is not unusual. Combined with above average yields and a summer that continued to witness regular wet weather, the growing season was more challenging than most.
Vineyard details were of utmost importance for Cabernet Sauvignon in the 2021 vintage. Those that did the work got the results, as I feel we did.

The 2021 Dirty Boots has a complex aroma including blackcurrant, kalamata and bay and tomato leaf with whiffs of cocoa and cedar.
The cooler season has allowed us to craft a medium bodied savoury
and elegant style of Cabernet Sauvignon. A thread of fine knit
tannin weaves through the palate backing up the blackberry and chocolate fruit, finishing long and fine.
